Post by toddscott785 »

Ok Im using photoshop and i have skins made, but when I load them in game it puts my skin on the bike just like it showed up in photoshop. I have no idea what jm files do but im pretty sure thats my problem. HOW DO I USE JM FILES ?

you dont have to do anything with JM files as long as you only want to skin a bike. JM files contain information about the model itself. Your problem is the correct naming of your .png file so the game knows which skin and shader belongs to which model (JM)

as long as you just paint it, yes. Make your skin in photoshop, save it as a .png file and name it right and put it in your personal folder. How you name it correctly is explained in the thread I posted above.

Ive looked at that thread for hours at a time, and i can get the skin in game, its just not on the bike right. Its laid out all out of order and at the top of the screen it says it failed to load jm files could this be that im not putting the skin on the right year model

for 2013 dyno it is "crf450v2013" and for the skin "crf450v2013-modelname-skinname"
