Been at hard work trying to model these last months and finally i'm getting somewhere(at least i think so) been having some faces/vertex'es problem, you know the hole merge-ing vertex-es and stuff(i know my english is top notch)
been working on a ford f100 and i think it looks pretty good, haven't had any problems whit it so far hopefully im starting to understand this better ;) trying to have it as low poly as possible, 151 face'es and its half way done :roll:

check for flipped normals thats what it always with me just go to texture mode or texture paint which ever its called and see if they r flipped

going to try to unwrap it and skin it, and if everything goes well i will probably release it so people can use it for their tracks :P

if you will use it as trackobject make the wheels using less polys ;)

ok my car is 3 objects, but i want it to be 1 object, hope you guys understand :? there must be somehow to merge selected object to 1 :| or what?

Select all objects, hit ctrl+J and you are done :)

can someone tell me what split edge is exactly? is it when you want a hard edge when done smoothing :? ?

one render to keep my post intrested :twisted: all left is mirrors...

well in 3ds max, I usually select edges I want to have hard and hit "split" button in editable poly menu...also you can select polys you want to be one smoothing group and hit "detach" (set to detach as element)
in blender you can do it same way, but when you have selected what you need, hit "Y" key for splitting it...or there is some kind of modifier that people use, but I never tried it
