Re: new bike models...
Prada, barrington is contributing, you don't notice because his contributions arent shitty skins or tracks on a weekly basis. Some projects take longer than that. The only reason you see it as complaining is because you know that eventually you will get Andy hacks kawi and he won't.
Like his grammatical skills or not he is at least well versed enough to keep an open conversation about each sides views going, and to me that's says a lot about his character.

Re: new bike models...
Phat, like I said, I don't even have the model. I have only been there for some input. I see it as complaining because he still continues to vent about it. Regardless of me getting it or not my life outside of sim won't differ. To make it that big of a deal over something he has no control over is complaining, to me at least. I only got involved because the public will get it sooner or later. But, just because my team along with others get it before, due to members contributing to the work, doesnt seem necessary to make a thread ranting about how its unfair. Saying all that he has and then stating he doesn't care after the fact just seems like a pointless thread. Why not just solve it privately with the creators?

NOFG on the grammar, bro.
attacker took me serious it seems. we both even have an understanding of each others arguments. imagine that!
i do also find it funny how the people that are flamming on me in this thread either A. have the kawi already or B. will have it for sx.

Alright I'm sorry Attacker. It's just frustrating when I have PanicRev, O'Neal, and EKS Brand sponsoring my team and everyone that I've asked that skins said "I won't skin attackers old model, only his new model", and you aren't planning on releasing it until after SX?

If those sponsors really cared about getting their name on the team skins then they would donate to the skinner who is willing to skin an older bike or if they wanted new stuff then they would pay someone with a new model so they could use it exclusively.

sponsors want good riders because good riders get seen. good riders want new bike models.m121c wrote:If those sponsors really cared about getting their name on the team skins then they would donate to the skinner who is willing to skin an older bike or if they wanted new stuff then they would pay someone with a new model so they could use it exclusively.

Sponsors also help pay expenses in certain cases barrington. So why wouldn't they pay for hood models then? Realize what you are saying, you really think oneal cares that fast people run their name in a video game? Maybe its just me but i don't see it doing much for them, but for the team to use their name to get fast riders on board.

Lol, you guys and your sponsors. You're like a bunch of little kids flocking to sponsorhouse.com and telling all the kids at your school that you're sponsored with that 10% discount that you have from Fox....

Great way to put it Phat, lol.. I remember that website as well.
I do the title sponsor for my team just to get the name out there. Free advertising, can't complain.. plus it looks good on bikes are the replica helmets are always a good showing. My brother actually laughed at me when he saw that his website got a couple hundo hits off of mxsim forums.
