if you want to move the bones you need to get into POSE Mode and don't forgot to uncheck that reset position button ;)

I've been trying to separate a bike model lately to export it. In Blender if I just hit B and then drag it over the fork guards and lower forks it selects nodes all over the rest of the bike.

So I'm using Wings now and have the "fork_lower.jm" selected. How would I separate it in Wings?

Were you in edit mode when you were doing that? If you press 'z' to go into wireframe view it normally fixes it for me.

I don't know anything about Wings though, so I can't help you there.

Hitting Z did the trick. Thanks YZ!

Do you know how to separate it in Blender though?

hey guys, just saw a link to this autodesk free modeling application http://www.123dapp.com/ didn't had time to try it, just checked few videos and I think it works fine, so if anybody interested, try it! ;)
Anyway from pics I saw I'm not sure if it supports polymodeling, so if anybody will actually try it, let us know ;)

Has anyone had a good play with Blender 2.5 (or 2.57)? It looks pretty badass. Too bad the jm export script was made for Python 2

no problem p2sta
in other note if anyone is willing, you cant unwrap and you cant model by polygons (it`s a kind of spline modeling), wich let`s this program out of my list haha. :)

So I have a problem here.
I want to do a render with 5 riders standing ,I duplicated them and now when I put skin on 1 of em,it puts on all of them. Can't put different skins..
I know its probably easily fixable but I have no idea what to do.. And I have all rider models rotated in some kind of way and plus lined up helmets.. Would be pain in the ass to re-do that again.

You need a different material for each object
