3D skinning question

Post by Specialized »

hey guys, ive a little question:
I am skinning a rider model. my question now is, can i skin on the 3d- model and change back to the "lieying" template?!
i hope you understand what i mean... :P
changing from the 3d editing of photoshop back to the "normal" layout, like you see it if you download a template?
i hope you can help me, cause i think its much easier to see where something should be in 3d mode...

greetings...

Well, I know how to get back to the 2D version in photoshop when looking at a rider skin, but I have never even rendered a bike skin...how exactly do you do it?

you need the .obj or .blend file of the bike. I think someone on here wrote a tutorial on it in the tutorial section for making renders on bikes. As for editing in 3d mode: no you can't edit straight on the 3d model or render but you could make your edits on the 2d template and then go to the 3d renders and look at it then make any more changes that would be necassary on the 2d template and just repeat the process till you have a final product.
