Hi Guys,
I know it's useless to post a new topic but I have been having some troubles with the personal folder and skins working/not working in Linux (Ubuntu 11.04). I'm running the demo right now and can't seem to find the personal folder for MXS. Moreover, Some skins (actually, a lot) don't work...I'm guessing it's bcuz I don't have the new snapshot installed, I don't know how as a matter a fact
Any help would appreciated

K...I switched over from windows a couple months ago and I had the full game on W7 and now I don't

When I put the 2010 Yamaha Model into demo folder..it shows up clear/transparent..any suggestions?

Your personal folder is ~/.mxsimulator on Linux. The demo isn't meant to be upgraded though.

~ is the same as /home/<username> on Linux, so it's "/home/<username>/.mxsimulator". Where <username> is your login name.

Thanks jlv. Now do install skkins just like on windows? I mean it's legal right? Cuase on Windows I had a bunch of skins and waws checking if it was still legal :/

How do I get the snapshot to work on Linux? I also want to use my ps3 controller..is there software to get that hooked up?

Replace mxbin with the mxbin you downloaded. You'll probably have to give the new file execute permission too.
