An Idea For a Yz250

Post by HAMMERDOWN »

Ok i know I already made one along time ago but since right now i have some down time i was thinking of maybe starting up a new model because theres not much to do in korea on ur down time in the Army. I was thinking of making a new bike and releasing it in a year or so if I can can tips and pointers from the More experienced modelers that would be awsome and maybe finding a new approach on modeling bikes. like for expample what part of the bike is best to start making first and also how to make normals and specs. Im just throwing this Idea around just want to see what you guys would think about it

You could see if Dj would be willing to give you the obj of his yz125 and then you could just model a 250 engine and pipe for it. That way skins from the 125 would fit straight onto the 250 and it would seriously reduce the amount of work you would have to do so you could also release it sooner. Plus it already has normal and spec maps.:D

Just an idea. You wouldnt learn as much doing it that way but it would be much easier than starting from scratch. Having the same skins work for both models would be really awesome though.
