MX Simulator

Well hello, there. This is a quick tutorial I made on the lowest of low basics of skinning how-to's. In this video I explain how to change a name/number, change color and add a logo to gear. I encourage everyone that is in need of some skinning knowledge to watch it, reason being is I always searched for tutorials to help better my skills in photoshop. I'm no top professional in photoshop and I don't claim to be, I just want some of the (many) people requesting skins to have a way of helping themselves with making custom gear.

how do i add different boots or a neck brace? What do i do with the jm's from the neck brace?

Go to the boots layer, hold down ctrl and click the thumbnail for the lyer. Then when it's highlighted in dashed lines hit ctrl c for copy. Go over to the gear you want it on and hit ctrl v for paste. The jms should go in your personal fodler.

so i did that, but what do i save it as and this is what i did: I copy and pasted the neckbrace on to the skin where the astar one was and now what?

Literally an inch above the new topic button it says tutorials. That is full of videos exactly like this one. Why make another?

Anyone looking for this video clearly doesn't look there or we wouldn't have so many topic about it.

That's exactly why. It's mainly due to the excessive amounts of topics requesting gear in this thread. Jlv said it was cool if I posted this so I did.
