I found this in my stuffs couple days ago and decided to upload http://puremxs.com/Bikes/BikeViewer.aspx?BikeID=213
There's 3 normals one for each gear use it if you want
This time i will give out the png's
No custom leatt and no special boots
No, the game produces shadows based on the normal map.
Here are examples of what a totally flat skin (there are no shadows on this skin anywhere) looks like with a normal map, in other words, all shading is done by the game:
Even better, check out these leg patches, where the shading and highlights move dynamically based on the position of the light source in relation to the position (and angle) of the leg patches. Shading on a skin dosent even come close to this:

My idea when applying both normal and shade map is to provide a kind of occlusion to the rider Just with occlusion Just Difuse Combined
Now Check this one:
Left is rider with shade map right is just normal
Give a look at the right leg and tell me wich one has more details.
Adding the shade map or note goes to each person, i prefer to use normal maps in order to enhance the details.
Just one more ex
This is COD 4 soldier uniform
They do Shade details on clothes and yet they have a better graphic engine then us so i dont think is that bad to add it
btw sorry for the size of pictures
I dont like the fact that you use white in your shading. You should apply the displacement you used for the normal map to the rider model, then bake an ambient occlusion map

Well certainly do as you prefer.
I just wanted to make quite sure you were clear on what shading the game is able to do.

Normalmaps dont do everything,(produce shadows? not really). My english is too bad to go into a technical discussion, google it it's not that hard to find informations.
@Garasaki:if you look the shadows area of your White Oneal skin you can see there's not details, eveything is flat. You could merge the green channel (normalmap) to your skin,it's not "perfect" but better.
As Luiz tried to explain,Colormap + "AOmap +/or Greenchannel(normalmap)" + Personnal shading and painting give the best results ingame, just use it well.Of course i understand that not everybody have the skill, time, patient to do things as it "should be",it concernes me too.
I'm pretty sure that Eskwaad just said this but:
Garasaki: If your skin has no shading, it looks flat when no light is on the model. So the whole side of your rider model facing away from the sun (source of light in-game, what ever)would be totally flat. No shading at all because there isn't any light on it.
