Did you really have to make a new topic just to ask?How about you ask in the Upcoming Models thread. That would make sense, wouldn't it?

ya, i was looking for some one who knows how to unwrap efficiently so I could pawn the model off to them for a little, but only one person got back to me... I do still have everything for the model, just no know how on how to get it done.

The one big problem it had, was that the whole thing was modeled in a way to make the edges hard, and unwrapping it as it was would be insanely hard and tedious.

The trick is, model all solid, unwrap, then split the edges (i think that's what it's called).

Just select all, and remove double vertices, then recalculate the normals.

I am starting over with a hell of alot more faces and verticies removed. It will be a long process because I have a life to manage but when I can I'll keep working on it. I have been approached my many asking about the model because (no offense ddmx) but the current RMZ model sucks... So, I'll try to keep it going and get something done...

sorry for the double, but DJ, its not just double sides, i modeled everything separately like the seat has a bottom, the tank is fully modeled, the frame is 100% including subframe... everything is its own object. So by redoing it, Ill be able to mold everything together and make a better model.

i quite literally modeled and unwrapped the current rmz in two days time. started friday night and finished saturday afternoon. it does suck, it's very very inneficient and quickly modeled. at the time though i thought it was a work of art, hahaha
