Some things about the YZF/YZ

Post by DJ99X »

Two things:
  • I'm now allowing you to send me any skins you make, and I'll throw them under the template and send them back to you
  • I'm after some pipe sounds. Post any pipeinfo files up that you have made (for both 250f and 125s)

Conditions for sending me a skin:
  • Don't even bother if it looks shit. If you are unsure about it, post a preview pic on the forum to get some thoughts on it. If you send me a shit skin, I'm blacklisting you.
  • No team skins
When sending me the skin, let me know if you want anything specifically coloured.

I'm almost willing to give very trusted people the template. I've got a good feeling on who and who not to trust.

This is a good idea. I have one question though, are we alowed to realease the skin if you have put it on the template? And if it is a team skin, can it be a public team skin? Not just one that the team can use? Great idea though.

I'll send the skin back to you to let you release the skin

I'm fine with a public team skin. Heck, I'll let you have a dedicated team skin, as long as you include a public version of the skin in the pack. BUT... only one team skin, ie no imprinting numbers onto the skin. I'm going to be very critical about the public team skins. Theyd better be something someone would actually use

I was actually thinking of doing some work on the old 125 . Looking at screenshots of the zednal guys the model doesn't look as good as the new one though.

I'll have to think about it some more.

Been working on this skin ever since DJ mentioned the update of the bike. Just wanted to know what you guys think of it. Also, if anyone has any pictures of the bike (front Fender, back fender, front plate) and would like to share them with me, that would be awesome.

I'm just replicating Nate Adams' bike, not at all my fault for the lack of flow. There is actually purple on the whole bike, so I'm not sure why it doesn't flow. Looks pretty sweet in my opinion.

That one industries logo could be a bit bigger though.

Yeah, i reckon its looking good. maybe some more logos are needed to fill the empty areas.

Another thing. Dont draw all the way to the edges, especially on the side number plates. The polygons on the outside are just the extruded faces that connect the outside the inside.im sure i could have described that better, lol
