Shoei Jm's

Post by Ryan638 »

Didn't really want to make a new topic for this but since my pm wasn't answered I guess I have to :|

Anyway, this is pretty much directed at DJ/Giopanda since you two are the only ones that seem to have them. ( I think?)

Any chance of releasing both the matte and normal .jm files for these helmets? I'm sure other people would like to have them as well and without them we can't test our own skins/maps in game, as the only option now is to use Giopanda'a norm+spec maps.

Nothings wrong with yours, but since theres no template or anything it's near impossible to get the normals to match up with the skin. Plus I would like to use my own maps

The easiest thing would have been asking me to put your skin on my template.
but if you want to use yours go on,only thing i don't see the usefulness of having different maps on the same helmet,it just increases loading times in online games.

Yeah I get what you mean, although I don't think loading extra Normal/Spec maps would make that much difference in texture memory, since there'sa good chance most people will be using different skins anyway plus the people that would be using other models so the extra memory wouldn't really be noticed (hope that sentence made sense )

No disrespect to you, since your skins are ridiculously amazing but thanks for the offer (although I might have to take you up on that sometime ). Besides I haven't got around to making many graphics, only the simple monster/rockstar/red bull ones so not really anything really worth releasing. But yeah, I guess I just want to do my own stuff and make something different

Ok just wanted to be sure why you want to make your own, because if anyone make a decent skin i'd be glad to add it to my template!
