Re: 3DMax+Blender discussion
Ill post the tutorials i watched to learn blender, most of them are over an hour long but they are very helpful.
They go over things from, basic controls, basic and advanced modelling tools, edge splitting, and lots of other stuff.
It is best to downlaod the zip file with the .AVI file inside.
Tutorial 1:
http://blenderunderground.com/2007/07/1 ... completed/
Tutorial 2:
http://blenderunderground.com/2007/07/2 ... 2-is-here/
Tutorial 3:
http://blenderunderground.com/2007/08/1 ... 3-is-live/
Tutorial 3 Extended:
http://blenderunderground.com/2007/08/2 ... plemental/
Tutorial 4:
http://blenderunderground.com/2007/09/0 ... -released/
Tutorial 5:
http://blenderunderground.com/2008/02/0 ... undations/
These should give you all of the skills to model track objects and possibly other things for mxs if you watch all of the videos.

Re: 3DMax+Blender discussion
Tip: if you want to cut a polygon, select the poly and then use the cut tool. This makes sure you only cut that poly not everything.

Re: 3DMax+Blender discussion
