It's definitely on an incline. If the start went straight and never turned and went to the edge of the track, it would probably drop about 15-20 feet.

Next time you go there, if it's any time soon, could you get some reference photos of the track. Like big pictures that show terrain, not a focused in shot? It'd be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, might not be until this summer, though.

I might actually go on the 19th, and I'll snap some for you if I end up going.

Can we throw in Black Mesa as a "Bonus Round"? :D

I really want to race that track with 40 people.

very possible, not for points in the championship, but we are going to need something to do/race during the "off" weekends for the pros! Also, I highly doubt we will be able to do 40 guys, but hopefully we can at least do 30...JLV, any input on that? Also I'm going to run a 125 and 250 class, and you must commit to 1 or the other on a week to week basis....i.e. you can only race 1 class per round, so that should split up the competition/entries a bit, assuming we can't run 40 guys! 40 guys would be epic! haha

JLV could run a race like one day before the supercross race in next week same time or one hour earlier , would be sick

It will definitely work with 40. I expect the main issue would be from people getting low fps rates.

Like me. If I wanted to race with 40 people, I literally wouldn't be able to see where the track is because my graphics would be so low. :( I tried to race the Loretta Lynns race, and I couldn't see any bumps until I was on top of them, and still got 10 fps.

Using http://seamless.usgs.gov/website/seamless/viewer.htm, I download a GEOTIFF in which I can't open in photoshop. No luck with the ARC file either. Shouldn't be as hard as I'm making it, is it?

If I remember correctly, it was a huge pain to get it working but I did manage to get elevation data out of it. Here's a thread where someone managed to import them into Lightwave.

Well, Voutare, I didn't go.

Sorry, no pics. The more I think, though, the better 30 feet sounds.
