You probably have the track in an extra sub-folder. Instead of

"C:\Program Files\MX Simulator\mytrack\mytrack"

it should be

"C:\Program Files\MX Simulator\mytrack"

but then how come sometimes when i get a map it says .........warning/missing shape file. @ track name/bailssmall.shp........

ive looked all over the forums and cant find these files to download or the trees i have some of them but not all of them ive downloaded all of the tree packs that dj posted but cant find any others.

this is what my file looks like from my properties in the mx personal file C:\Users\A*****\AppData\Local\MX Simulator\springville.mx

That's because it's looking for "@trackname/bailssmall.shp", but the file is installed as "@trackname/trackname/bailssmall.shp".

Move the inner folder out one level. If they have the same name you'll have to rename the outer folder first.

ok so i think i get what you mean so when i unzip it and move it in to my track folder... when i open the track folder and see all my tack i go to the one that im having the problem with which is (springville) i double click on that track and it takes me to another springville when i double click on that all of the textures and trees and blah blah blah are in that folder. i cant seem to get rid of that folder tho when i extract it and the second folder appears at the top of my downloads i open it and its there on top of all of the textures and stuff do i delete it or rename it there. I tried deleting it before transferring it over to my tracks folder but it didn't do anything, i even tried renaming it and still nothing and i also moved all the textures into it.... nothin happened. this is really frustrating.

It seems that every new track i download and unzip is missing something ... wtfmx by dj deil had a huge white square where the sun is supposed to be and the trees are missing. every single one of the tracks has trees missing and bails missing. it is very annoying and i cant the links to download the tree packs i have environment pack 1 and object packs 1 and 2 cant for the life of me find any more.

p.s sorry there is alot that i am have with this game and im trying to get this all figured out
