On screen sit/dab indicator?
Maybe this is a dumb question, but I'm having a really hard time with the sit/dab. Is there an option to have an on screen indictor so I know when I'm sitting?
The slight amount the screen moves isn't enough (especially when accelerating). Something as simple as an "SIT: ON\OFF" on the top left would be fine. Just something so I can' tell would be great.
Thanks guys.

one option would be to ride in 3er person.
Tennis, Basketball and Baseball all requires one ball
Motocross requires two!

I have been wanting the same thing, I think a little thing down by the the pit board that says sit/dab with a little "light" next to it that turns on when you are sitting would be great. Sometimes on some of the new national tracks I get all messed up in some of the rough sections and cant figure out if I am sitting or not...usually leads to a fall.

I like that idea, something just off the pitboard. I don't need an animation, just a HUD element.SMR 510RR wrote:I have been wanting the same thing, I think a little thing down by the the pit board that says sit/dab with a little "light" next to it that turns on when you are sitting would be great.

I kind of like this idea. Something like the old cod4 person sitting, or standing when the character does.

turn sticky sit/dab off and just hold the sit/dab button for when you want to sit/dab. ok sit/dab

Turn up your rider vertical spring. That will make the rider stand taller, and will be much easier to see if he is standing or sitting

Re: On screen sit/dab indicator?
For me at least it isnt as simple as seeing if he is standing or sitting...on a good lap I know what is happening the whole time, its when SHTF and I am trying to save it.
Would it bother you to have an indicator of some kind? I also think it would be good to have some sort of signal that a rider is near you on your sides...Not like MvA where it tells you how far away they are just that they are there. I know everyone will say that in real life there is no indicator but I can also turn my head in real life, maybe we need to add that. Cut down on all the unnecessary crashes that people should be smart enough to avoid. Would also help lappers stay out of the way, its hard to stay out of the way when all you know is that they are 1.9s behind you at the last gate.

DJ, I tried this, and it just doesn't work for me. I feel like a giant.DJ99X wrote:Turn up your rider vertical spring. That will make the rider stand taller, and will be much easier to see if he is standing or sitting

Could be useful I think. But most of the time I can feel it if Im sitting or not.

The only place this would actually help for me anyways, would be starting. I always loop it on starts because I don't know if I'm sitting or standing.

JLV, would this be hard to add? I know nothing about coding, or what goes into adding stuff like this. It wouldn't need to be anything flashy, just an icon or text.

your view is closer to the bars when you are sitting, farther when standing. I've always been able to tell when I am playing, don't see why we need another thing on the screen taking up space.
If you ride a 4stroke I feel bad for you son! I got 99 problems but my valves ain't 1

Re: On screen sit/dab indicator?
Really? It wouldn't need to be huge, I mean text would work. "Sit" on the screen would be enough. Could even be on the pitboard, there is nothing on the screen hud wise when you compare this game to others. I would just like to know when I'm sitting is all.DunerDillon wrote:your view is closer to the bars when you are sitting, farther when standing.
