If the factory bikes get to much air and the wrong airfilter on (no cage) it can raise their sound db by 2. At A1 a team failed sound testing 4 or so times before changing airfilters. Just think if they had no airbox. I guess plenty of teams were failing sound testing, but the way it sounds, that's not a very uncommon thing I guess.
