WOW Never seen this coming either.... Especially since they have put soo much into all of the Dream Ride edits. Even tho they were not exactly setting the media scene on fire, nor has any of their riders. Shame.
I bet after that ride in his heat race at Phenoix Satvagy could probably nab a spot on another team, don't have high hopes for Stew though. Sucks to see a team that hadn't reached it's potential have to close down.
People on Vurb are blaming it on the Dream ride shoots. I'm not sure how much they think it cost to get a semi with that many people to a race, actually race, keep them free of charge there and pay them while they are with the team but I am willing to bet a whole lot of money that one of those shoots didn't cost half as much as 1 race does.
Everytime you post something stupid, a baby gets punched in the face. Please be smart, for the children.

I don't see that happening. I don't think teams hire people based on heat races. Excluding Mike Alessi.

If i hear one more person tell me that filming Dream Ride was partly the cause of us not racing anymore i am going to snap!
The cost to JDR for DR wouldnt even get the rig to Oakland! shutting off the videos wouldnt come close to offsetting racing costs!!
We have great partnerships with guys like DC, Answer, skull candy, fmf etc who put aside extra advertising dollars for projects like Dream Ride... Jason Macalpine and i own a small video production company that does work on the side that helps off set an additional costs..
Dream Ride / other videos more than served their purpose in an economical way.."
