I only made the basics such as the frame front fender and swing arm etc. Hope to get it finished over Christmas with normals baked and textures done etc although i am struggling with these parts.Needs some crits on the uv etc. Right click >view image if its too big.

The new-front-end craze is out of control. It looks good on the YZ, but not all that great on anything else. Plus, the stock plastics on the YZs look awesome anyways.

Yeah, the UFO kit designer deserves a swift kick in the nuts.

Change and innovation are fine. It's stupid when people try to apply something cool to every new situation. For example, hashtags, 4 stroke front ends on 2 strokes, and one-footed whips.

It's just the japanese bikes that doesn't change. If the japanese manufacturers were still developing the 2-strokes I think they would have already designed some new plastics for them. All europeans has nearly same plastics no matter what engine the bike has, cause 2-strokes are one of them main products. And yeah no one liked the new 2007 ktms when those small rear numberplates started to became a trend.
Usually I don't like any after market plastics but those UFO ones are pretty good looking IMO. But still if they were official yamaha plastics it would be fine, now it's not cause the bike has to look like the manufacturer is designed it. :)
So yeah that was a great choice I'll rather ride the stock YZ in the game than the one with UFO plastics.

I think with plastics its better that they bend kinda easy, otherwise they would brake i think. :D
