RaceFactory Sign Up

Post by tqc638 »

Why does it take forever to signup for a race. The track has been out for like 2 hours and sign up still isnt open. It seems like its always like this every week!

The lap times you run before signups still count, if that's what your'e worried about.

What might be your solution? Do you even know what it takes to do some of the stuff that website does? On top of real life work and school? If you aren't happy with the way rF is ran, I suggest you write them a formal email and see if you can get your subscription/sign up fees back.

Good idea barrington. I want my entry fee back, or at the very least, half of it. Forgive me, I was never very good at math, what's half of nothing again?

This week we are doing a few new things.

#1 we needed to insure all licenses were updated BEFORE people signed up, because otherwise there would be many issues.
#2 We are tying Pro and AM sign ups together in the database so you CANT sign up for both days, meaning you have no chance of trying to race both days
#3 We are getting lists together (since it's the first East round) for who can race which class...250 West guys are banned from 250 East, and A class licenses who raced a 450 on West can no longer compete in the 450 class and need to be banned from 450 "East" if you will...etc

So until we get that stuff working, sign ups will remain closed. Wheels is doing all that work HIMSELF, and he is hoping to be done this evening. Thanks
