Windows 7 64-Bit Flickering Screen

Post by TBARRY34 »

Hey I am trying to install MX SIM on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop. The problem I am having is the screen is just flickering at a high rate, can't play like this I'll end up in a seizure. My brother has the same windows and had the same problem although after a few attempts at rebooting the game he got his to work, although no such luck here.

Don't know if any of this helps at all or is just taking up space.......I put the graphics card in bold.

Well for future reference I fixed it by turning Colors from 32-bit to 16-bit

Does it help you add --depth 24 to the command line parameters?

Hey :)

I got a problem only now (worked for a couple of hours ago)

If i go to time trial and play... no problem.
If i go multiplayer screen is flashing all the time. BUT if i press f9 (assigned in MSI Afterburner) it starts recording video and theres no more flashing :? So when i then stop recording... The flashings gets back

I just played some BF3 and OC'ed my card a bit but turned it down where it runs normaly.

Sont think it can be problem with the card since it works fine when i record... But i dont wanna record all the time when i play :O

Ill try reinstalling tommorow and ill keep informed if it fixes it.

If any one got a solution before i reinstall could be great ;)

This is first time this happens to me. Never had problems with the game before and i tried setting -- depth 24 and also change to 16 bit and tried them both at the same time and still no result.

Ps: Pc has all drivers up to date

Try using different settings for double/triple buffering in Nvidia control panel.
