it looks like the boot is controlled by the other leg as wel... try to move the other legs bone and you will see if it moves the boot or not...if not, try other bones on the armature, one of them should show some movement (the one it should be attached to too for sure, but some other)

Is this caused because i am duplicating the right boot? The left boot will still be attached to the rightlowerleg bone?

Hey guys, posting this here as I am sure it's something retarted I didn't get but I'm a bit confused with the norm channels here.
For the Suzuki Logo on the seat cover, the right side (bottom) looks fine like it's popping out but the left side (top) is, well, messed up. I inverted the channels thinking it would work but it seems like it doesn't.

Any idea of the mistake I made?

You need to make the norms after you have copied the logo on the left side as well. Copying a norm doesn't work in this case.

Ok so basically there is no shortcut in this case, thanks for the answer :)
I figured that since I was not able to do a normal map even 1/4 as good as the one from the template, I would just add my modifications instead of doing a brand new one.

imo if you invert just green channel it should work, but I'm not 100% sure about that

It looks fine the way it is, as far as channels go. It does seem to look different from the other.

Ah yes, sorry for the poor picture quality, it is different from the other as I inverted the green channel.

Anyway, did it again from the start and unfortunately it still does the same.

No big deal at all as I'm only able to see it with zooming all the way in with FOV at 10 but just for the sake of learning.

Yes that's what I figured, and that was from making a new normal map from the start as opposed to just inverting the green channel, as I said it doesn't matter but would love an explaination for the sake of understanding ;)

I would upload the whole file if it could help as I doubt anyone would steal my poorly designed bike but I don't think anyone would bother downloading a 150MB template.

Anyway I see that I have a lot to learn when I see the normal maps released with the templates, so I'll start with that, understanding will come in due time, thanks for the help guys.
