*Help Please* How To Change Boots

i recently started skinning (using cs5) and i was wondering how i change the boots ive tried looking all over the forums and nobody really ha a topic or tutorial on it please help thanks

you have to open the boot png or psd in another file in PS then drag it over to the other tab where the gear is. Simple!

im dragging the boots over and its not doing anything

I don't know if this will work for you. But in the sidebar of the screen where all of the different boot colors are. I right-click on what color I want, select "duplicate layer", then a window may come up asking what you want to duplicate it as and where you want it. Select your gear .psd or .png as where you want it. And then it should be on your gear!

one problem though is that my gear isnt in high detail anymore i cantsee like the ripples and etail in the gear

Maybe you hid the specular or normal maps? It doesn't do that for me.

ive been playing around with the order of the stuff and its still not working?? hmm

do you know about this??? so i was wondering how in atsys videos on youtube even the slightest turn will make his feet come of the peg to corner i was wondering how to adjust my stability to it?

Most guys that fast have their stability at anything usually below 30. I'm not sure how to do that any other way. Sorry
