2014 AMA Supercross Discussion

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Well heats were pretty rad! There wasn't too much battles going on in the mains, but it was really interesting if James could catch RV, and all those mistakes were pretty big.

RV got it done!

I feel like James could have caught him, but I think after that near death case he had doing the quad, he just decided it wasn't his night and just backed it off and accepted 2nd, RV I will admit, has been very good these past 2 rounds, though I still wonder what would have happened the week before in Houston if James hadn't been sick. Personally im bored of sx now, I can't wait for outdoors to start. Ive also decided after last night that Dungey needs to get the hell off that ktm and back on a suzuki. He just hasn't been the same rider since he left them, ive never felt like this ktm suited him well, and after these past 3 sx seasons and past 2 outdoor seasons, I feel like he was way faster on the suzuki. If not for bad luck mechanicals in 2011 he would have 2 sx and 2 outdoor titles on the suzuki, vs the only one outdoor title he has gotten on the ktm. He has had some mechanical failures on the ktm too, but he wasn't going to win the championships they happened in either way. I just feel like he needs to get on something else.

Well James was definitely fast and he pushed hard, but mistake after mistake backed him down a bit. RV on the other hand looks like we used to see him in previous years, fast and solid.

I was impressed with Hill in the Semi, rode awesome and that last lap! I think he did the quad and a waved to the crowd? 360p on youtube :/

Yeah, Hill did wave to the crowd. It was sick.

Frickin' perfect weather for the open-air SX! Justin and Josh had a "good" night and we got a little partying in for broke-ass mofo's. Decided on a no photo night and loved the freedom.

LoL!!! "Poosh-a very 'ard." Thanks for that, can't believe I forgot. He's the purest, most fluid rider ever. He makes brown-seat passes look so easy, where a mere mortal would lose the front end. Watch the movie "Faster".

Is it even remotely true that Poto could miss the outdoors? Whats this about a nagging knee injury? I hope he doesn't, want to see a finally healthy James and him go at it this year, James was never healthy all of last season, and with the speed he had shown in 2012 when healthy before the thunder valley crash, I think it could be an awesome battle to watch. Hope Dungey can bring it in the outdoors as well, he was only 12 points behind poto last year 6 rounds in until he had the bike failure at redbud which effectively derailed his whole season, as well as the chain issue at millville that cost him a lot of points too. I don't think it will happen though, at least not until he leaves that damn KTM and gets on a bike that suits him again. (cough, suzuki) Was so much more competitive on that than he has ever been on ktm. All in all, I hope that all the top guys can stay out of mechanical trouble, etc this outdoor season so that there can actually be a fight for the title.

Dungey sure did suck outdoors in 2012.
