I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

mxwolf you must be some kind of idiot? i was sponsored straight through thor and their most expensive helmet is 400 dollars and is the carbon force. i wore it for 2 weeks and switched back to arai immidiately, its not a favorite helmet because arai definately isnt the best looking, its whats true. and i do believe 600 is more then 400..but idk im only in college i might not know math that well??? if you think that oneal makes the best helmets you are a complete id1ot. and most likely a goon also

Good Day Gents,

Basicly as I had some serious crashes in the past as well here all I can say is don´t buy a helmet after looking good buy that is safe!! And this said I must say at least not that harsh but stotts is definitly right on that one basicly I wear Araii or Shoei at the moment got the new shoei vfx-w and must say this is worth the money. Like said this is my opinion on it you can safe money on maybe boots or Knee braces but at least never ever on the helmet think of something happens you may not be able to walk but you will still be able to think and express yourself clearly so this is for me more important than an Graffic on the helmet. And if you still wanna have a custom Graffic on go get a white shoei and make a custom on it that looks kick ass!!

Just my 2 cent on this one

Kind Regards

Sonnette

i wasnt meaning to be harsh about it sorry lol i just stated my opinion and said that you should buy the top three high end helmets, being bell, arai, and shoei, and make a joke (if you arent crashing you arent riding hard enough  ) to another member who knew it was a joke. that little mxwolf kid left a comment afterwards calling me an idiot basically saying that i didnt know what i was talking about and all kind of things that didnt even make sense lol. i didnt mean to cause offense to anyone that guy just ticked me off. id like to see how many races he has ever entered, muchless won.

its just takes once lol. im not trying to tell any of you guys what to do i just think that there is alot of deaths ive been hearing about because people had cheap helmets or no leatt brace. it sucks to see someone of our sport die. if your just a weekend rider having fun not hitting big stuff then its okay, but if you are big time racing on huge tracks and stuff, then you need to spend as much as you can. to be honest ive probly spent more money on helmets in the last 4 years then i have on bikes...just for the fact that i can always buy a new bike...but not a new brain. gear, boots and knee pads are one thing you dont have to have the best of the best, boots do help your ankles but not that big of a factor, but helmets and neck braces are a must to invest in. again this is my opinion i am not wanting to offend anyone

I know what you mean i dont ride at a huge track ith massive hits like some people. Where i ride we have everyone has fun reguard less of skill. Some people have gotten hurt broken bones and such. I really cant get hurt because i have to take PT tests so i just ride and jump. Theres some people i see that ride out of control. I dunno what bike you ride but i have a CR500R and you really cant go crazy on it unless you got a flyweight or just a syco. I dont have a leatt brace and i never will i personally am against them (Not trying to start a flame war). I also ride Hare Scrambles and i think you can get hurt far worse in the woods than on a track.

I think kids should have safe gear though. I dont think the leatt brace is a bad idea some of these young kids that race are very small and they go very fast so i think they should wear them. The prices are outrageous for gear now years ago it was like 200$ now i have to spend 500$ for a jersey, pants, and boots. :(

yeah i know what you mean by people ride out of control lol you gotta do it somewhat to gain skill but i know some people who just pin it all the time and have no bike control what so ever lol. and yeah you cant do much with a 500 those things are beast! i have 2 kx250fs and a kx450f and i barely ride the 450 its alot of bike lol. the people in the woods dont ride as fast as mx but if they did it would be wayyy dangerous because of the trees lol. but id rather hit a tree in 3rd gear then the ground from a 4th gear tapped highside lol. as the leatt braces go, i really dont like them because they break collarbones like crazy and are big, but im working on getting an alpinestars brace they have that shock system so your collarbones can stay nice and in tact haha. no flame war here man you didnt call me an idiot and bash on my opinion!

the reason i dislike thor helmets is because me and my good friend were riding at 3palms and he swapped out on the landing of the highway tripple(if anyone has been there you know what im talking about) and had a thor carbon force on, when he got up the mouthgaurd smashed in and all the metal fibers stuck into his face. he looked like pinhead or something, definately shouldnt have happened with a 400 dollar helmet. and as of me saying other helmets suck, they may look cool, but if you have the money and like your brain, why not go arai, shoei, or bell. the reason i say the rest arent as good is because those top three brands go through extensive test to make sure it well exceeds dot standards while the rest barely make the dot standards. its your head you choose lol. and yes i am i happy guy ive got a perfect life :)
