There is a post like 5 under yours, which says in big capital letters "YOUR SETUP" with literally hundreds to choose from.ssChuckyss wrote:What settings do I use in advance stab. to make me turn faster and lean faster... i have goting use to the controls but now it seems like i can't turn out of corners fast enough.... Max Steering force - 1000
Direct steering - 1.0
That should do it, it takes some getting used to but this is how most pros and I run it. Make sure your leveling isn't too high either, mine is about 30's ish

Roll Damping is your resistance to lean. Lowering that will let you lean the bike over quicker. Steering strength and max steering force have little to do with how quickly the bike leans over. Leveling sweetspot is around 20-25 but ive seen some crazy people run it upwards of 30 and get away with it.
What you want to do is find the right roll damping you want, so dont play with anything but roll damping for now. Once you've done that then you can play with the steering strength, max steering force, and steering damping. This will change the feel of the setup drastically because it affects the whole ratio between steering and leaning, you will find that when you make your steering really quick it actually STIFFENS your setup, making it harder to lean over. Im not sure why this happens, something about too many forces fighting against each other.
Think of steering damping as roll damping for you steering, resistant to change. Almost like a steering damper but when you arent inputting control in the air it kinda goes free, its weird. Steering strength is basically the speed it turns the bars. Obviously dependent on how fast the steering damping lets it turn. Max steering force is hard to explain, so ill try to use an example. Picture a big muscle guy pushing a car 2mph, now picture a scrawny dude pushing a car 2mph. They are going the same speed but the muscle guy is less affected by going over little rocks here and there because he has more power even tho they are going the same speed. Max steering force is kinda like that where it doesnt directly change how fast the bars turn unless you go super low with the force to where it is using so little force that it simply cant even turn the bars. So 1000 steering force vs 800 steering force will be the same speed at say 40 steering damping, but the amount of force used to push the bars at that static speed changes. Im terrible at explaining but hope that makes sense.

I guess it would have been better for me to say picture a big ass truck going 50mph vs a prius going 50mph. Oh well.

Re: Help Please: My bike is leaning and turning to slow Help!!!!
Hey, I'm reviving this thread. You're saying that roll damping is more important than maximum steering force? It's not necessarily ideal to have a maximum steering force of 1000 if you've found your ideal roll damping setting?
