Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
Only question I have left, is what's going on when I hear that the top 5 guys in 450 are going to be dropping down to the 250 class? Seems stupid unfair.

This is not an official ruling... (just my personal thoughts)WellsMX524 wrote:Only question I have left, is what's going on when I hear that the top 5 guys in 450 are going to be dropping down to the 250 class? Seems stupid unfair.
I've heard buzz about it. I'd first be curious to find out why. If it is that they like the 250 more, they like the time slot more, or they think there will be more or less competition... From there we can actually look at it and potentially do something. If it's time slot, maybe we flip flop 250 and 450. I can't blame them if they just like the 250 more, and honestly, competition in both classes is always incredibly deep and you're just as welcome as they are to move up or down classes. We have a few days and a pretty good relationship with our racers (I think), so hopefully they are willing and able to share their thoughts on why/what they are doing and we can then meet as an rF staff and decide if we should be reacting with any changes.
I personally always want to see the fastest guys race the fastest guys, but if they enjoy the 250 more after spending countless hours on the 450 over the past seasons, I can't really argue that either. It is a game after all, and we all started to have fun.

Let people race whatever class they want. I really dont care if the fastest 450 riders drop down, more people to battle (or lose to lol)

I dont agree with that, to ride 450 you need a pro license and A license for 250, there will be a lot more 250
Riders if lets say 10 pro 450 riders drop down to 250

This is not the case for outdoors. "A" license may ride 250 or 450 pro.RXR_Banjo wrote:I dont agree with that, to ride 450 you need a pro license and A license for 250, there will be a lot more 250

Just a heads up to everyone saying "I paid $40 for this game, rF is making us pay over half of what we paid for the actual game".
You originally paid for MX Simulator, JLV's deal. You weren't paying for Race Factory Gaming, a competitive (professionally organized) series ran by people who don't have direct income from people buying UIDs on this game.

I was all cool with the $25 until i seen that the live streamers (Kellen) will be profited... Other than that, great idea and $25 is more than fair and reasonable if it goes to the right people.
Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
There needs to be 3 classes if you are going to charge to be in the series.
Pro- Top riders
A Class - Riders who could possibly qualify for Pro but don't have the consistency yet.
B + C class- TRUE B and C riders who can have some decent competition ( instead of getting destroyed by A class sandbaggers )
I'm not a terrible rider but I'm still C class I'd say possibly B on some tracks. But there are just too many riders in Amateur who are really A Class riders which makes it very tough to even qualify for a race.
Would love to be a part of this and have no problem contributing funds for all the hard work. I just want to get to ride if I'm going to pay.

I sent mine in last night, so about when will I get the track link? Thanks

I think You are over estimating how much these guys will actually get once it is divided amongst the group. So many whiny edmondsons in here.

Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
I have never qualified for any pro or am race and I still paid the 25. I play the game simply for the fun of it and because we all know mx vs atv has went to shit. Glad to see you guys putting in the time and getting all the prizes together for this year. Keep up the good work rf!
Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
Processing time is up to 7 days. However, Chris as stated earlier in this 10 pages of whining and stupid questions that you will processed within the next 24 hours.zg290 wrote:I sent mine in last night, so about when will I get the track link? Thanks
There doesn't "need" to be anything, I can assure you they are trying to provide as much as they possibly make happen. I'm sorry, but if you aren't good enough to qualify that is more of a you problem, should probably get better or not race then if you can't warrant up $25 for 12 sick tracks and the chance to qualify for the racing. I haven't raced in a long while, nor will I in the future, but I'm probably going to buy a membership just so I can ride with my buddies when the tracks come out and possibly race a time or 2. Seems worth it to me..Funk wrote:There needs to be 3 classes if you are going to charge to be in the series.

It costs $250 to sign up for a pro national. Every weekend about 40-80 riders in each class do not qualify, and to let in on a secret, the AMA don't give a shit! They don't do a "sorry you failed to qualify" race because they paid their money and they deserve to race. "I went out for soccer, I don't care that we lost I deserve a god damn trophy Susan you heartless bitch, I tried!"
This participation generation shit is getting old. It's not "all kids must play" rules in real life just a FYI.
