The truth that is well hidden

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Doesn't seem well hidden to me, at least. I'm a bigtime Trump supporter, and the media works wonders twisting his words and what not. Weston is right. Those politicians pushing further "refugee" migration are fully responsible for bringing the terrorists to their homeland. It amazes me how blind most people in society are to global issues, and push to migrate these "refugees" simply because they feel bad. This generation is bringing up nothing but a bunch of super-sensitive pussies that don't know how to stand up for anything. The same thing goes with the whole Target bathroom situation; Liberals are so worried about hurting the .01% of the population that's "trans" that they ignore the whole issue of the much larger sex offender population and overall risk of danger. It still blows my mind how people see that as a positive change. Hillary, if elected (highly probable, unfortunately), will do nothing but run America further into the damn ground. George Clooney represents the ideal liberal, saying in an interview "we will not be driven by fear. We will not be scared of Muslims." Hey, dumbass, wake the hell up. You need to be! Everyone needs to be! The corruption nowadays is absolutely absurd. Hillary does nothing but lie, lie, and lie again. In fact, here's a video of her doing what she does best:

Feeling like Finland is not far from Sweden in this thing. I really have to think about moving overseas to somewhere in future god damn. Seriously these politicians, like our prime minister who believed a 20 year old soldier was a "17 year old refugee" as he claimed.. That "refugee" guy was doing like an European trip or something for fun more than being a refugee, posting cool pics to FB, of countries he visited through his trip and so. After getting roasted and hated in social media even by our famous MMA fighter who is originally a refugee as well, he apologized he has been lying his age TO PRIME MINISTER in front of MEDIA and everything was FINE after that. What the hell. Seriously I don't know what people over the world knows about Finland and other similar "welfare countries" and how much being a "racist" is really a problem here. But seriously the things and decisions that are happening here are just too ridiculous to even believe they are true. I'm kind of living in a yolo zone in my mind so I just can't care too much or I'm gonna get sick and die. Ride motocross and stay happy as much as it's still legal to even own a bike in Finland. Less you care happier you'll be is correct.

You saying my country is no good? But seriously, Sweden is getting fucked over so hard from both the public and most politicians. In 25 years, we'll have chaos and anarchy if it continues as it is. If so, I'm outta here faster than somebody can call me a racist.

In all fairness, I've never seen a politician (so far) anywhere that isn't straight up crazy (Hitler for example) that isn't lying his ass off. However this is just cringe and embarrassing to watch. I don't live in US, I don't follow the debates actively, I'm just catching whatever comes in front of me. Hillary seems as she wants to go in the direction Sweden is now. Some things might be good about that, but Sweden now is on a downfall. This is due to a lot of things, so even if Hillary probably has some good points somewhere, do not become Sweden 2. Trump on the other hand, I don't fear him, I just think that he is too spontaneous. I'm just worried that he one day feels like "I don't need France, let's nuke them". I doubt he will do that, but he's very unpredictable, which might cause trouble. It might be the best thing ever too, who knows. Interesting election for sure. Lots of people are going to be mad or happy. Looking forward to Sweden's election 2018. Going to be interesting as well...

The US election this year is honestly going to be a shit show, but you gotta pick the best of the worst! haha I just admire how Trump isn't afraid to say what needs to be said. Political correctness is a huge source of conflict that need not be present, but people take simple things way overboard nowadays. Everyone is super over-sensitive.

While I agree with you regarding the "PC" culture around anyone who's in the public eye, I would argue that - with respect to Mr. Trump - there is a middle ground between Political Correctness and offensive/ignorant rhetoric. To me, that is called common decency, which doesn't really exist in the modern political system.

This hits on something I don't understand with those who offer 100% support to Trump and everything he says. I'm not interested in an argument/debate over who's the best candidate, I just don't get how people can hear some of the shit he says and take the stance of "Oh, he's just not bending to the PC culture. He says what he thinks..." That's fine and well, as is his right, but - any single policy position he has taken aside - I find much of his interaction/communication with voters to be purposefully inflammatory.

Whether you think some politicians are too PC or some are too indecent, the bottom line is that, in most instances, both sides are essentially doing the same thing - saying things in a way that they feel might help to manipulate their audience into backing them. That's politics 101, and I would argue that it is a fundamental requirement of the job at this point, because if you don't play that game, you will never get enough votes to get the job in the first place. Fuck governance, it's all about reelection.

I'm not for Hilary, at all, but putting opinions and views aside I like to look at patterns and statistics.

On any social media platform, in any political related conversation I've been in, and in any media outlet thus far in this race, the only 2 people I see are Bernie and Trump. Hilary is not popular with the public, no one I see is for her, no one is protesting for her, no media outlet is out to get her, etc. Seems odd right? The one candidate who is, to some, going to be a shoe in for the presidency no matter what, is the same candidate that no one is talking about? The same very candidate that no one knows ANYTHING about as far as views. Not like you can trust what she says anyways.

If this doesn't scream that we have a broken system, I don't know what is.

What will be funny, if she wins, and let's face it the dems what her in baaaaad so she probably will, no one will bat an eye. If Trump wins somehow, they will call for corrupted, rigged, and setup election.

It's funny you guys think there is somewhere you can go to escape this. I guess we could all go to where the "refugees" are coming from, that will be the only place free from them.

If we could get a legitimate third party here in the US then I think that would really bring better options. No one even knows what a Libertarian is but I bet it is closer to most people's actually preference than any of the candidates we have this year.

I in no way will 100% agree with the presumptive conclusions of quasi-surveys like this that pigeonhole you into one of a number of shitty choices...but that was really thought provoking. Not at all because of the resulting "conclusion," but those are some interesting questions - and, some really interesting "other" options for those questions that are clearly there for a reason. Thanks for linking.

While I definitely don't advocate for anyone voting based on the results exclusively I think it might be eye opening to some people who have always voted one way simply because it is the way they have always voted.

If there wasn't a fear of "throwing your vote away" when voting for a 3rd party candidate would more people do it? What if people from both sides agreed that the person who most represented their ideals was the same person? Why can't I be sympathetic to people and their social issues (not all of them but a good number at least) and want to decrease the size of the government and stop spending so much money on useless junk? What if my best match is a very polarizing figure and I can get 80% of what I want in a package that is acceptable to a large majority of people?

IMO, a lot of what is wrong with this country specifically is that people are upset at the thought of other people doing something. The mere thought of someone having a relationship with a person of the same sex bothers people enough that they want to make it so they can't get married. It somehow devalues the heterosexual couples marriage even though these people have never and may never even come into contact with one another. Of course that is just one example but you can apply that logic to almost anything.

IDK if you are interested but Gary Johnson was on Joe Rogans Podcast recently, you can find it on youtube. It was interesting to me, even if you don't support his ideas he talks a lot about our political system and the lack of a viable 3rd party.

Outside of my ignorance of Gary Johnson, I really couldn't agree more with your sentiment. I hope that, somehow, our "younger" generation is able to come into a social-political environment that isn't binary. Based only on my interactions/discussions since I started giving real thought to this subject back in undergrad, I think that many of us (mid/late 20's - 30's) would be much more excited about the idea of having a viable 3rd party candidate who advocates for more liberal social policy and more conservative fiscal policy, in the general sense of things. Unfortunately, many - including most of my close friends who care enough about this stuff - have had to decide which of those two agendas they care about most.

IMO, we as a nation/society are losing sight of the difference between a person's right to hold their own beliefs and those beliefs becoming "where I stand on what everyone else should be doing." Do I necessarily love the idea of gay marriage? No, but it doesn't directly, significantly impact my life, and who am I to tell others how to live and to take away their happiness? I wish people could see the difference between having opinions/beliefs and imposing those on others because it's what they think is right. I realize the idea of "freedom" is limited - though we have it better than 99.9% of others, which I don't take for granted - but it drives me crazy to see/hear people trying to advocate for policy within a democracy while dictatorially telling anyone who disagrees that their A) wrong; B) stupid, inferior idiots; and best of all C) going to hell/stupid for believing in hell, depending upon which side of the argument you take.
