I know. I find it funny that all these slower people will bitch and moan about paying $25 to race rF. But instead of racing a great FREE series they would still rather pay to race rF. Just makes no sense
Maybe the beginner class should be 125s only?

It seems like the best option would be to mix the beginners with the 250AM, there's not much justification in having the beginner class if there's under 10 people racing/week.

shooting yourself in the foot if this happens, lol Im a big road block and not on purpose.

This does make sense though, racing 4 other guys last night didnt make any sense.

Dawson, If DM decides to just combine the two classes and a full list of people qualify but not everyone shows up, would I still beable to race if I hadnt qualified?

I get what you're saying, but honestly it's best for both sides. More people to race against/with the better.

In response to your question @Grant I believe the scripts would pull whoever is available if there isn't a full gate.

That is correct. if you qualify say 45th and 5 or so racers don't show, then the race app will put you in. It will fill all 40 spots on the gate if there are enough to fill 40.

also, I was also racing Beginner last series but since the 250 ams now have 40 on the gate it makes better sense to me to move up and race against more. Besides, at the end of the series, if you race 250 ams, you may earn a number to ride in the next DM series. Beginners can't earn a number. Not a big deal but something.

Haven't followed the post, but how about racing Beginner+250am together then score points individually?

We have thought about doing that but then two issues come up. One, the really slow guys will make the leaders mad when they have to lap them 3 or 4 times plus some don't get out of the way in time etc.... Sometimes its not a big issue but other times the really slow guys do get in the way in the ams races. Second, Nate would have to reprogram the application to combine the two classes and then distribute separate points for each class. So It makes more sense to just race the beginners with the ams and just call it the ams 250 class. That is if we are going to remove the beginner class. Still up in the air for now. We will see how it turns out over the next race or two.

Thank you for your idea. Always good to hear suggestions.
