I wanted to do a test to see how long it would take to render this at 1000 samples....it took 10.5 hours....my poor CPU....at least I got myself a super high quality render tho :lol:

1000 samples isnt that high quality, you gotta do it at like 2500 samples lol i did one and it took me idk... like 2 hours? something like that

Most of my renders are at 4-500 samples, 2500 seems a bit overkill.

yeah it is lol i normally do like 6-800 which takes like 3-7 minutes to render. ive only done that one to see if there would be a huge difference

20 samples? :wink: 1000 - 2000 could be necessary if you make interior scenes that is lit up with an hdr image. I usually just preview render a small part in the 3d viewport to see at what sample count it looks noise free and set it to whatever that is. usually between 400-900

i think 600 seems to work the best for me as far as noise cancelling and precision goes. I havent really been rendering much but your stuff is insane lol

quickly rendered this to see how it looks, a few more adjustments and the addition of some things with a change of shading and reflections and i should be done.
