did you accidently flip normals or is the invisible part a plane and not a cube?
I have not done any normals yet
No not your normal map the normals as in the plane normals
I don't know where to find it in 2.8/2.9 but here is a picture of the setting in 2.7, basically if you flip your normals the wrong way, only one side will show up and it will show from the inside of the object and not the outside.

It like reflects the sun weird idk
Select all your faces and switch them to smooth shading so it will match what the game does in Blender. Then use an edge split modifier to make the edges look sharp.
