Is it just me or as of recently every time I shut my computer down. Upon starting it back up and opening sim on this update my sim is factory reset from setting to reg key not pulled ect.
Any insight as to why this would happen is appreciated. It’s a pain having to completely reset my game to its settings before playing.
*this does not happen when closing and reopening the game just when laptop shuts down and is rebooted*

Is the config file missing after you reboot?

Scratch that. Spoke too soon. The config file still exists in my personal foldermxrewind665 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 18, 2026 1:42 am No it appears since restarting my laptop today everything was fine today. Go figure after I make sure to take a pic of my settings![]()

Did you check the contents of it? Seems like if it was there it should have picked up the settings.

This has been happening to me at least once a month, and almost every time I first open sim it asks for my reg keymxrewind665 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 16, 2026 2:28 am Is it just me or as of recently every time I shut my computer down. You did a lot with the game that already exists and just isn't utilized by other creators.Jakob Hubbard wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 7:04 pmSounds like you're the one crying about lack of updates no?
I think bikes has way better coverage and marketing and sim constantly is crapped on by less serious gamers.
The physics are perfect. We just don't want to lose our community I think, and the coverage of bikes makes the players looking for updates feel like the game is dying. I don't think it is. The moto gaming community is growing.

By contrast, JLV is light years more transparent, open and helpful than PiBoSo. Who remembers when he disappeared for 2 years?
