Fully open source and free for everyone. OpenGL Based. Doesn't mess with the exe itself. Works on any snapshot. Approved by rF admin

This looks great so far. I'm excited to finally have a better first person camera for everyone that couldn't stand the other one. I've played first person from day one and I like this one even better

Hey so I'm trying to get this to work on steam deck, I have the game running by adding the windows .exe through steam and having the game files on an sd card and when I install it I cant get the mod menu to show up after proper installation

The mods are only supported by Windows currently. So the steam deck has its own operating system called SteamOS, just like Linux isn't supported yet.

If you're running the windows .exe through steam proton there should be a way to add the opengl dll extension into your proton/wine files. I'm not exactly sure what's doable with a steam deck but in theory that should be possible.

I was working on a port for Janik's shader mod to linux. It builds a shared object file and then dynamically links it to the game with a shell script to operate similarly to how dll's work. I'm sure something similar could be done with these mods too but I don't think there will be a lot of support for linux overall as majority of the player base is still on windows.
