Yea, the 2 digit thing, and the class limit and so forth doesn't really apply here and now...Bonair wrote:Yea I know... The 2 digit thing is a fun twist, but I know people would make it difficult so screw it....
the class limit thing is in effect for real life loretta's most likely to give other people a chance at racing in the other classes, I.E. they have more entries than they can take, so therefore they limit it to bring more new guys in.
In MXS, the more racing everyone can do, the better, because other wise we'd have 3-5 man classes everywhere. When we have 40 man gates for every class with loads more people that wanted to race but couldn't get in, then I'll worry about running regionals, and once that is huge, also do local area qualifiers, and limit the number of classes you can run and so forth.
Those rules just don't seem applicable for our event...
Please let me know of more LL rules, as I don't really know them very well....Moto's are scored olympically? DNS=??? DNF=??? I'm not going to research such things, but feel free to let me know, or I'll just be running how I think is best.
Re: Lorretta Lynns 2011
Motos are scored like a local race, a 1-3 ties a 2-2, but the 2-2 wins the tie breaker.
The third moto is the tie breaker.

A classes all run white backgrounds with black numbers (both 250 and 450)
B classes run yellow backgrounds black numbers
C classes run black backgrounds with white numbers (both 250 and 450)
All other classes run white backgrounds with black numbers

Sorry Checkerz, but 1-3 always beats a 2-2checkerz wrote:Motos are scored like a local race, a 1-3 ties a 2-2, but the 2-2 wins the tie breaker.

1-3 nets you 45 points. (25 for 1st and 20 for 3rd)
2-2 nets you 44 points. (22 for 2nd)
Re: Lorretta Lynns 2011
Sorry dipshit, amateurs don't use that points scale, nor earn points per moto.

Re: Lorretta Lynns 2011
I'm not so sure there's any glory in sandbagging the c-class anyways. I might have a shot at winning it, but I'd rather be in B-class which is where I belong. I'm under 2:10 laptimes consistently (provided I don't crash, and on the currently released [last year's] version). We shall see. If it is apparent that I should be in C class, after the official practices, feel free to move me Sween.
Btw, I'm assuming that at least one beer is mandatory in the 21+ open classes? I guarantee I'll be rockin a bottle of some good Colorado micro-brew of some sort.
