That's the spirit! Haha, but yeah I mean it's not a huge big of a deal but definitely during big races it is a little disrespectful to run another teams stuff, maybe rf will try to prevent that, or maybe they don't give a crap

I think this is that privateer - professional part of sim coming into play. You can look at it like, dang these guys get the best stuff, I want to be like them and get what they have. So this could be the "career mode" of sim, you first start to play the game with alright stuff, then work your way up to the top. I mean I started off as a nobody and now I'm on EVS, you just got to earn it. It's cool to look back, this is pretty much my "career" in sim.

You guys are missing my point. Skins are one thing, entire models are another. When it comes to team skins yes, it's good to be unique, however, depriving the rest of the community from 2013 models just so you can be "special" is kinda messed up. Sure it's your model and you can do what you want with it but don't expect people to have a good opinion of you if you go showing it around, only releasing enough so that a team can use it and everyone else can't. Just imagine all the sick skins and teams and model-edits/fixes could be out by now if those models and psds were released.

it would be nice if the community could really come together and figure out that releasing these models would help although yea i get your point and yea its up to them what they do with models or skins this community i feel would be better off if people would stop being so greedy with everything they make cuz what most of these modelers make is truely amazing and you cant expect people to look at a released team model and skin and not use it there would have to be a lock options to force people not to use them but its just not fair that 6 people or more can use a team bike but somehow none of the rest of the community is special enough to get to use it im probably wrong but it feels like that to me.

Everyone seems to forget about the stock bikes. Don't like that a creator that hasn't released their new bike with a template for free? No one is forcing you to ride that bike, use a stock bike or a older bike. If you can't be a unique team what is point? Respect a team that does not want you running their team content, that's that.

People need to realize this is more than "just a video game", many people make big bucks off of video game content. People in this community have built themselves up and ultimately got good job opportunity's from this game. There are people out their that take it really serious and when something is ripped or being used with out permission a lot more goes down than just cussing, such as law suits. We have a community here that is lucky enough that they have talented creators that are willing to just give away their work for free. Not only give a away their work but also their templates/source files cause the community expects it. Go take a look at turbosquid.com and look at their dirtbikes and then compare them to the dirtbikes of sim. Look at their price and compare them to the price of free. This community is fortunate.
