I seem to remember at one point a simple tip over would be just picking the bike up and continuing on, while crashing your brains out on a triple would result in the screen going black for a while. Don't remember what the exact times were, but I do remember them being different based on the force of impact.
Oh the old blackouts! #goodoldays

Who remembers what track they first crashed off the bike on? Mine was mx777 for the 2010 demo nationals. I remember trying crazy jumps just to watch the rider fall off the bike!

I think that was back when I still was could be grounded. My first time was when we all played Glen Helen. We would all go big on the uphill triple or that huge ass table drop off.

I think it is cute how no one even bothered to look at my fall off thread... I had some good points.

hahahaha Imagine trying to find your bike after a supercross pileup! What if there was a bike on top of yours, can you move it? Can you get on other peoples bikes? Can we go all GTA and steal other peoples bikes on the server? What's this game about again? haha

I think a higher penalty for riding like an idiot would be good but agree that sometimes falls come out of nowhere. Seems like I am seeing more new guys on the servers who are riding way over their limits, if you cant ride at least 1/2 a lap on average without falling there is a problem.

Yeah. After going back to SX, I find that I now play the role of the smooth rider who gets frustrated by the guys who can't ride a lap. Last year, I was the guy who couldn't ride a lap.

I don't feel like the rider coming off the bike would make SX any more entertaining, though. I can just imagine some guy casing a triple and with the exaggerated collisions in MXS, his body shooting off into the next lane over, taking people out.

I like this ides, but I would like there to be some sort of maximimun amount of time u can be off the bike form. Then if u exceed this amount f time youll respawn o the bike.

I think this should be bumped up, I like the idea of the 5 second spawn wherever your bike lays. It would be impossible to implement independent control of rider running to bike. Just make the same physics now but the rider gets detached

If the rider can come completely detached, then I think it shouldn't be the first thing to happen. If it happened with a bit more force than the legs falling off now or in the second hit of a tumble or something it would be fine. If we could still control the rider while the legs are off, with a lowered stability or something, that would be sick.

It's hard enough to control the bike as it is. Let's not just make it so your rider can lose control at random.
