Re: MXdN Discussion
Yea true, man I don't care what anyone says, the best battle of this year for me, had to easily have been the battle between Reed, paulin, searl, metty. There was SOOOOOO many riders in the mix of a late race battle as if it was opening lap. So awesome.
On a side not, to stir the pot a bit, I love Davey Coombs response to everyone saying USA will get destroyed at lommel. " umm, do they not know FL has deep sand " , announcers was right about one thing, USA is never beat until they are beat. I look forward to future MXON's as long as the racing is this good.

Re: MXdN Discussion
Since which year USA keep getting winning streaks?
Awesome USA won, and definitely pumped for Aussies. Chad was talking in the interview that he would love to get on the podium this year, it was their goal.
And I don't think they will be destroyed in Lommel.

Villo super fast, but Dungey and bagget... it's a joke, thought it was "the fastest boys on the planet" lol rockzen kick dungey ass.. was epic !
For pourcel, he broke his goggle in first moto, 2nd moto his front wheel "crashed" ( dunno how say) , so it's not the "pourcel" question, just unlucky... And he was crasy fast, whith AC 222 who was unlucky too...
Well done for US, but it was close for you again !

Re: MXdN Discussion
^^^ Luck has nothing to do with it guy... 7 straight MXON titles. Nuff Said. Dungey fast as well, did not seem to have the speed as he did from Saturday, maybe bad tire selection, or just did not expect the track to be as it was after all the rain.
On the Roczen kicking Dungeys ass,True. but May I remind you Villopoto in 07 at MXON, He kicked the world's ass on a lites bike....

Re: MXdN Discussion
yeah RV is for me now a kind if JS, he's a beast
2 DNF without "personal" problem for cp is not a question of luck ?
i remember saturday , ac 222 was so amazing... and pourcel first time, just 0.2 s with RV , and rv did his fast lap on a drier track ! anyway it was hard to beat US, but for us it was hard too i think. Cya Next year, in the real sand

Re: MXdN Discussion
Does anyone know the real deal with what happened to CP? Did he really have a rear-tire issue, or did he go off-track and then give up when half the field passed him? You'd think that he would have been hung publicly by the crown if he just quit with no real mechanical problem. Can't believe they didn't catch it on video. He was turning up the heat, got by Dungey easily and was looking like he might start to run down RV. But he didn't.
It was close, for sure, and a good race. I wish Roczen had been riding a 350, then we really could have seen what he had against RV and RD. Next year will be interesting, but I anticipate the same end result.

Re: MXdN Discussion
Don't agree with you there. Next year MXON will be in the deep sand of Lommel, Belgium. That track isn't like southwick, the place you call the roughest track in the world. It is more like the beach, the roughness is insane. Gonna be there in Lommel next year, but that's offtopic.Axle McOctane wrote:Does anyone know the real deal with what happened to CP? In my opinion Jeffrey Herlings will beat ANYONE on that track, maybe Cairoli or Roczen can follow him, but not sure about it though. I think the Americans will end their streak in 2012, but who knows. I think it's gonna be insane, because mostly they don't flatten/work the track out for the raceday. The track will be ridden in the exactly same roughness as the end of the qualifing day. Think gaps between riders will be a lot bigger and we will (ofcourse) see lots more crashes.

Re: MXdN Discussion
How much you wanna bet, the FIM grooms the track before each day for the MXON. Not between motos of course.
As DJD said, euros say the same shit every year, but USA still wins. Luck or No Luck, everyone chokes it up coming into the final moto except USA, as previous years have shown.

Re: MXdN Discussion
You bench racers crack me up. You take it just as serious as if you were the one racing it. I could care less what country finishes where, I still only choose individual riders. Take the first race, Soon as the gate dropped I was hoping Roczen would beat Dungey. The amount of noise I made when he held him off was ridiculous. Wasn't even rooting for Reed but I was pretty pumped he got the W. Of course I was rooting for RV in the Open race but Herlings was hauling and could not say anything against that. Then once again was really pulling that RV would beat Dungey, could care less if it was RD 7th and RD 9th but aslong as he was ahead I would have been happy.
