Re: lag problem
That's kinda strange...
What's your PING?? Mine's fairly high (around 180-200) and the offset never gets beyond 10
I'm not an expert but if you give more information people will have an easier job helping you

Are you getting a very slow framerate?

Re: Random Lag Problem*Help*
idk how to explain it, like i could have my graphics on like 2-3 and there could be like 1 or 2 other players on the server, like everytime i got on there my ping and ms goes skyhigh and i lag bad. the ms goes to like 18000s and my ping is in the hundreds. never had this problem before, i had to miss the winter series night 2 cause of it

LOL
I've had a same-ish problem. For me, my computer lags more without shaders than with shaders. But the sad thing is, it lags with shaders. SO I'm stuck with the lag. Is it just my graphics card or is it the game?

Re: Random Lag Problem*Help*
Actually, now that you ask me, i may be my processor. Its only 1.3 GHz. They say my card can run BF3 with a better processor. But anyway, here are my specs:jlv wrote:What card are you using?
Processor: Genuine Intel(R) CPU U7300 @ 1.30GHz (2 CPUs)
4GB Ram
Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M
That's probably all you need. It's a laptop if you can't tell. If you don't know the problem, I'm getting a new PC for Christmas. Epic specs aswell.

Both of those CPU's are pretty slow. With a slow CPU you should make sure you have the roost set to 0.

Re: Random Lag Problem*Help*
My PC is not much better than theirs and I used to race with roost and once I raced with 15 guys online and the lag wasn't so high to make it hard to playjlv wrote:Both of those CPU's are pretty slow. With a slow CPU you should make sure you have the roost set to 0.
My trick is to have no skins and models at all, then the game doesn't need much "power" to run the game smoothly
