AI Riders

Post by g-dub »

Hey guys, i did do a quick check of the forums to see if this had already been posted(which is prob has) but i didnt find the info i need.
Great job on the update btw JLV. its funny how since playing this game more and more each day has completely changed my views and feelings towards ! no my only regret about buying this game is the fact i didnt buy it sooner!! well worth the money.. sorry for ever doubting!! :( anyways enough of that..
Just wondered if you (JLV) are ever gonna release a new set of point series to play with good AI riders? i mean a point series which includes some of the top custom tracks such as WFO and Fort Winton. Also it would be really cool if you were to do a RF National point series with AI riders. i know it probably a huge undertaking and would take forever or may not work, but it would be great. I have met a few people who have bought the game but due to the lack of fast internet they cannot play online so they have no choice but to time trial themselves or play the basic tracks.

Speaking of AI riders, I tried to "teach" them to ride tracks, as some people have posted on here, by adding --practice to the command line, but they don't seem to actually learn.

What am I doing wrong?

Probably riding too fast when you train them. You have to be realistic and hit only stuff that the AI can handle.

So is it something you'd consider then JLV? and also maybe a patch that kits the ai riders out in stock gear such as thor core or fox 180. just to try and steer it in a more up to date direction. thanks mate.

This would MAKE this game. add realistic points series, SX, AX, outdoor, AMs against good AI riders, also be able to change AI skins.. I DL a pack that changes AI to much better looking bikes and gear.. is it not possible with other skins?
