I saw a couple 250fs do it during practice.

I was sitting there taking pics of peeps doing it during practice. I think practice is the best part of the race day experience for fans

Yeah and MCM2.

I started playing Rainbow MX games in 1998, in my freshman year of college. I turn 40 in less than 6 months

Garasaki. He had a pretty unique style of making tracks He was a creative guy. I wonder what he's up to. I have a bunch of kids, career, ex wife, that sorta stuff. Just getting back into riding after a 13 year layoff - with my kids. I get the itch to play this game occasionally. In fact, I'm so dam...

Re: How do i fix these ripples?

It's not just a matter of the resolution of the map, it's also a matter of the scale of the track. You have to have a pretty high resolution map combined with a pretty small scale track to get really smooth ruts/bumps like the original poster is trying to do. Think arenacross size using a 2049x2049 ...

Re: Make braking bumps in MXS editor

Do you use the ingame editor or photoshop?

Do you know how to use erode and your replays to roughen the track up? I've had pretty good luck with that.

Thanks Alex, got another angle for you guys http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/35/f65d.jpg A comment on how you've arranged your sections: You have a lot of rhythm sections. In essence, there is one long continuous rhythm section that starts near the black rectangle in this picture (assume...

Re: New MX vs ATV game

It won't be a sim or MXS, but I think you'll see a fun game and a step up from Alive in the fun factor. And less gimmic "mass audience" arcadey BS. YAY, I think anything that's a step away from mass audience is a step in the right direction. Let's face it, an MX game is not going to sell ...

Whattup dawg, I was in the stands at the CR AX!!!! You looked real good in your heat (You were the 17 year old with long hair, right??). I was watching you close on those guys in the main after you crashed...you were fast enough just not enough race to close the gap caused by your crash (musta been ...

Re: Making the terrain in the editor vs making a disp map in

I remember XPR stuff from back in the day!!! I found using a combo of the editor and PS to work well. I think the editor is really good at sculpting jumps, but I could never get it to do turn, ruts, and base terrain very well. I'd use PS to manage the different components of my track. I'd start a ba...

Re: Struggling with ruts, help a fellow rider out!:)

I make ruts in PS and its really simple. I use the pen tool or the brush tool depending on what i am shooting for. Pen tool will give you a perfect rut bend and a brush will give you a more natural rut with some hick ups. But with a bush i have to blur the entrance and exits to make them just right...

Re: 2013 AMA Supercross Discussion

wow great helmet cam footage. Sucked to see a number of top riders down and out...I agree with the comment "who puts a whoop section after the first turn!?" Felt like the track was pretty poorly designed. The placement of the sand section made little sense (because it was completely 1 line...
