This won't be quite as good as
this post from 2011, but...
Shack, here is my analysis of your race. Take it how you will. My dad has always said that when you get a speeding ticket, don't fight it, pay up. Then appreciate all the times you got away without being caught.
Think of this as your riding coach trying to help you eliminate mental mistakes that cost you in your racing.
Here is the demo if you'd like to follow along.
1:00 - Jump into back of Juan - Yeah, I know this happened fast, but how do you not see the guy cutting straight over on you? Your method of entering the track here was interesting, but nobody was coming so whatever.
1:18 - Jump on Juan's head again. See above.
1:38 - Weird bobble causes some frustration in the whoops. Didn't make anyone go down, but elimintating these descisions would help you tremendously.
1:46 - Run into Brina, nothing you could do there.
2:24 - Jump on Brina after she cut you off. Not much you could do there.
3:04 - Jumped on by Brina, not much you could do there.
3:13 - Run into Juan when getting up from the crash. Not much you can do. But stop trying to get going before you are all the way up! Procede to hold it pinned and try to push Juan out of the way? I'm sure that is just rage sinking in, but come on! If you back up and get going, you save an 8 second fall off crash.
3:24 - After said fall off crash, you run into Markham while he is lapping you while you are getting up. Map/track awareness is necessary. You're lucky he didn't crash.
4:30 - Mark runs into you when you back off for a leader to go by. Not your fault.
7:30 - Come up short, sick save, go off track.
7:36 - Enter the track through a bale into Mark's line. He goes down. 1) Map awareness as stated above 2) DO NOT TRY TO ENTER THE TRACK THROUGH A BALE. TAKE A SECOND TO ALIGN YOURSELF PROPERLY, THEN ENTER THE TRACK SAFELY.
7:59 - Mark takes you out after the finish. He was frstrated with your actions.
