Yeah, I haven't ever seen him be dirty. He just likes to hold his line when he's being lapped, so you actually have to try and get around him. Not that it's a bad thing.

I agree, but my disagreement comes from him protesting every single instance. If every rider decides to do this for each race. Well good luck making those decisions, because they will come in by the butt load. I just feel there is a certain time/place to protest, and not every single incident. Just from watching demos/Live stream phathry will ride more aggressive to the one's he has a history with, such as Juan,DJD, shack etc.Mark is obviously extremely good at this game. Not disputing that at all.

I'm getting the impression that Jeff doesn't know the definition of petty.

Mikey, I don't remember calling anyone a dirty rider in this thread, so who is "you two idiots"?

I didn't think I have any problems with DJD. If I do it's on his end, he's one of the guys I do like. With Juan it always has been either he or I end up on the ground when we're near each other. Every time I try to take the high road I get the short end of the stick. Besides he's just mad that he got suspended for going from right to left while doubling a triple. And I just don't like shack. There's no rules against racing someone harder than someone else.

How does me protesting someone breaking the rules make me a dirty rider or an idiot?

not feeling this weeks track at all. I think ill be racing open class.

Could someone at race factory tell me the rules on dropping down to A or staying on a 450? I have 450 points... can I stay or do I need to move down?

Thank you! How is it not awesome that Mark cares enough to try and make the racing better?

This won't be quite as good as this post from 2011, but...

Shack, here is my analysis of your race. Take it how you will. My dad has always said that when you get a speeding ticket, don't fight it, pay up. Then appreciate all the times you got away without being caught.

Think of this as your riding coach trying to help you eliminate mental mistakes that cost you in your racing.

Here is the demo if you'd like to follow along.

1:00 - Jump into back of Juan - Yeah, I know this happened fast, but how do you not see the guy cutting straight over on you? Your method of entering the track here was interesting, but nobody was coming so whatever.
1:18 - Jump on Juan's head again. See above.
1:38 - Weird bobble causes some frustration in the whoops. Didn't make anyone go down, but elimintating these descisions would help you tremendously.
1:46 - Run into Brina, nothing you could do there.
2:24 - Jump on Brina after she cut you off. Not much you could do there.
3:04 - Jumped on by Brina, not much you could do there.
3:13 - Run into Juan when getting up from the crash. Not much you can do. But stop trying to get going before you are all the way up! Procede to hold it pinned and try to push Juan out of the way? I'm sure that is just rage sinking in, but come on! If you back up and get going, you save an 8 second fall off crash.
3:24 - After said fall off crash, you run into Markham while he is lapping you while you are getting up. Map/track awareness is necessary. You're lucky he didn't crash.
4:30 - Mark runs into you when you back off for a leader to go by. Not your fault.
7:30 - Come up short, sick save, go off track.
7:36 - Enter the track through a bale into Mark's line. He goes down. 1) Map awareness as stated above 2) DO NOT TRY TO ENTER THE TRACK THROUGH A BALE. TAKE A SECOND TO ALIGN YOURSELF PROPERLY, THEN ENTER THE TRACK SAFELY.
7:59 - Mark takes you out after the finish. He was frstrated with your actions.

I think if you make a 12 (3, maybe 6?) hour wait period before you accept protests will help those who are heated calm down. Then the introduction of time/position penalties for not so severe/first time offenders then if they are more severe/repeaters take more serious action like a suspension or if necessary drop their licence. I like the no nonsense attitude you guys have but i think you penalize to much for something to small and that is why half of this thread is unneeded rage.

If my internet wouldn't quit cutting out every 2 laps then maybe I'd be able to put down an alright qualifying time. Right now everyone will go invisible like when you disconnect then 3 laps later they'll be normal again, and I don't want to be in the server when it's doing that. Of course I ask my Dad if he can fix it and he starts screaming that he's sick. Sick  (See what I did there?)

The way I see it:

The amount of rage in this thread over a one week suspension (when you can still race the Am night Open class) tells us that the penalty is severe enough to hopefully get our point across.

How do we fairly issue penalties if they are time/points based? Using Shack as an example (Sure, picking on him) if we dock him 10, 20, 30 seconds in his heat, what does that do? Nothing. So we move to the main? But what if the guy didn't make the main? So we move on to points? Well, what if the guy has no points? So THEN we suspend them?

In my opinion, that is weighting their current situation too much rather than punishing everyone in the same manner. At least the way we have it set up, people know the rules and know the penalties. Hopefully with punishments going to some high profile riders, we will actually get some changes in the racing scene.

Please, when you practice during the week, think about getting back on the track in a safe manner. Try to avoid other riders during whatever online race on 03 you do. The only way things will get better is if everyone makes the conscious effort to repeatedly practice safe riding. Train yourselves to ride smart, and it will come instinctively during the races that matter.

Looks like someone doesn't know the definition of when someone is busting your balls. Like Mikey was.

Crazy how when someone disagrees with something, and speaks his opinion it turns into a shit storm. Guess opinions are not welcomed.
