Organized Series
Re: Organized Series
ya but JLV i think was going to make a redirect link on the Forum index so you just click it and it redirects you there and the reason i made a new site is so you could keep it the SIM feel with striker teams and we could use this site for general talk
Re: Organized Series
i too think having a separate site is a bad idea. i dont feel like bouncing between sites to find out shit. all we need is a sub forum for the racing like the tracks and track editing. also another sub forum we are in need of is a skins and models one. this forum is so unorganized and has so much random crap in it its ridiculous. people post wayyyy too many worthless posts like "yup"..."cool"..."i like this" and so on..its annoying as hell
Re: Organized Series
if you just have two tabs open with the two forums its really easy and after joe has put the time into it would be a shame not to use it.
YAMAHA privateers moorin,
if you aint rubbin you aint dubbin!
if you aint rubbin you aint dubbin!
Re: Organized Series
well jbob i agree if he makes a redirect link it would be the same thing that was there is no place for random typing to be said its just racing and thats it

I like the idea of having a forum just for racing, but i think the "main" nationals/sx series should be held from This forum. The most prestique series should be located in the forum from where this game was born in my opinion, they could follow your(Joe) team rules and stuff though.
But your(Joe) miniSX seris and 2 stroke series should be held at mxnation. If your too lazy to write motocrossnation.net everytime you wanna see if there is a race; just set it as one of your homepages lol

Re: Organized Series
ya i think we need to keep everything in one place JLV seems to like the idea and he said he will support it
Re: Organized Series
yeah cant we just have another thread on this forum?
and all the factory teams should have to be tried out for over a set of races

Re: Organized Series
I feel like if there's a "Race Info" subforum, that it should be moderated, meaning the signup thread would require DJ or JLV to approve all posts, no matter who the user is.
Results should be locked, as should race info.

Re: Organized Series
Well, not neccisarilly.
There should be 4 types of posts for the series/race.
1. Series post. Dates, schedule, results. Locked.
2. track post. Deadline, gate picks. Locked.
3. Results post. Results, link to download. Open to discussion.
4. Series Discussion post. Open to discussion.
This would work best in my opinion, and really its the exact same as what we have now, just in it's own subforum.

How do you pick a gate when the topic is locked?
