Seems to me that the 35 slots should belong to the top 35 qualifiers, not to just whoever shows up.

ShackAttack12 wrote:James, the video is good, but i would not submit it to vurb with the helmet cam like that. You can barely see the track with the view because half the screen is taken up by the bar pad. If DDMX could tell you his settings, it would make the video so much better.
if you read under the video the explanation is there, i changed the ratio to 16x9 since its 1080i format. When i did that it zoomed in some from the raw format, thats why it looks so close. So This week im testing out #'s to use and importing and testing renders to see what works. The raw format is going to need to be farther back then you normally would so when i do change the ratio it zoom in and goes to the right view we want. Catch me on vent or IM and we will all play around with stuff and figure out the best look

9 people from 2 heats? No wildcards or anything like last year, just normal AMA races? Not sure how it will go if there are a ton of people in each heat since there'd be only 2. Half the people would lag out and the first 4 straights would be horrendous if you make a little mistake. Kinda like how last year was with different amount of heats depending on how many people there are.

It would be nice if the top 35 slots were reserved for the top qualifiers and then 15 minutes before the race all slots were opened to fill the full 40. Seems like that would work fairly nicely, especially for us on the west coast that don't get home until 30 minutes before race time. Hopefully there will still be some spots available when I get home tonightDJD wrote:Seems to me that the 35 slots should belong to the top 35 qualifiers, not to just whoever shows up.

I'm really really excited to race with 20 guys just like real life to be honest, and hopefully the laggers and quitters will stay home, or should be banned from the next race unless they have a valid excuse!yzmxer608 wrote:9 people from 2 heats? My only issue is I feel like the racing will go by TOO quickly. I think a 125's only class would be a good addition

I'm changing my thoughts now, there was 17ish people practicing and it wasn't too bad. Just hopefully the people that do lag bad won't join (like that'll happen though...).

I expect we'll do a 125 race afterwards, but not for points or anything. Also, you have a spot reserved. You're too helpful to not be there!Sweendoggy wrote:I'm really really excited to race with 20 guys just like real life to be honest, and hopefully the laggers and quitters will stay home, or should be banned from the next race unless they have a valid excuse!yzmxer608 wrote:9 people from 2 heats? Looks like they took one of the steps out of the dragonback/table thing.Phathry25 wrote:Looks like JLV nailed that third base line rythm lane!

is goin to be really hard to have 35 people in 1 heat, possibly do 2 heats of 20(or however many people are there)? Then the LCQ and take the top 10 fron each heat and 4 from the LCQ? Then have a 24 man main?
