Best controls. Help?

So sense i dont have a wired controller atm, I was wondering what would be the best settings/controls on a keyboard? Can anybody help me here?

Can´t see the whole pics but you see the value anyway.

Short about it...

Manual gearing (shifting) improves your whoopie riding, orherwise it will gear up and than it´s harder to stop.

So when i want to turn left a little bit, the bike will jerk to the right a bit, then start to turn left... Can i fix that somehow?

Is it possible to make a ps2 controller use the D-pad to turn and stuff? It wont let me use it, it only works on the analog sticks. Is there a way to program it or something to make it able?
