Track editor no worky

Why can't I access my track editor? I did it with the demo by changing the shortcut......It doesn't work now
I have also tried the command prompt and no go.
c:\Program Files\MX Simulator> mx.exe --editor
I have tried it several different ways including with " " and I am sure I am missing somthing......What is it

Never mind......I didn't have the space between " and the --editor
