Something I've been looking at a couple of days now as my dad used to have one back in the 1980's. Now they came with some semi-new concepts in 2010 and actually still build them...
"One may be forgiven for not realizing that Maico motorcycles--a brand that was legendary on motocross tracks in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, thanks largely to the performances of Americans Danny Chandler and Steve Stackable, and Germans Ake Jonsson and Willy Bauer--are currently available for sale."
If you want something special with a lot of history attached to it.. this Maico MXX is definitely the way to go (they make these beauts still from 250cc up to 700cc!!!!).
Aaah, I get it now. And well I like vintage stuff in general, but the new stuff as well.
The Maico's just have a special place in my heart seeing my father rode them back in the days. Only thing I have left from his 500cc is the clutch cover sadly.
