Whats your pc?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

we know that, but some of us have tight budgets. Id rather have a new silencer for my bike, or a new set of gear than a better processor.
Well, you need to figure out what you need realistically versus what you would like to have. Earlier you had mentioned that you wanted a computer to run full graphics on MX Sim online with no to minimal lag, your now saying your on a budget so figure out what you actaully want to do realistically.

Not trying to be a prick, but this seems very strange that a person who bought a truck that 'cost more than 80k before tax' is trying to say they are on a tight budget for items on a computer build. Don't take it the wrong way just calling it as I see it.

I just got a new dell desktop computer. Couldn't tell you an specs about it other than it has a 500GB hard drive and 2GB of ram. So my question is will a graphics card let me run mxs better and if so what one should i get that is a fairly cheap price?

Go to Computer-right click-properties to find out a lot of the stuff. For graphics cards, you can go in Graphics/Sound setup in MXS and it will tell you.

Might want to get some more RAM, too. 2's a bit low and memory isn't too expensive. 8GB is like $35, so you could add like 4 for not too much.

MXS is a lot on processing too, so keep that in mind. MXS only uses one core, too, so the amount of GHz on each core is what matters more for MXS performance (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). I'm going with a cheaper, higher GHz quad-core instead of that six-core since most games will do just fine on a quad core and I don't want to overkill.

My mistake hah, i ment to say it has a 4GB ram. and i cant find out anything cause i have to wait till christmas to take it out of the box. Only time i was it was at best buy. and it was like $500 so im going to assume its not the greatest computer.

Hell bro go for a dual core if you don't plan on multitasking while you play!

Okay I figured out the specs for my computer:

Dell Inspiron 570 Desktop

http://www.meetgadget.com/gadget/13498/ ... spiron+570

This site has pretty much all of its specs besides the fact that mine has a 4gb ram instead of a 2gb ram which is on this computer. This is just a random site i did not purchase this exact computer. I have a different monitor and a few other different things. So i would like some feedback on what i can do to get prime mxs time like being able to run the sx series and others.

Im almost positive I said that "my father bought". Any ways, I was trying to figure out a good performance:Price ratio, because I am forced to pay for it myself, which is totally fine with me, but It limited me on what I could afford. I decided on this:

-AMD Phenom II 965BlackEdition X4 3.4ghz CPU
-Gigabyte GA-990XA UD3 Mobo
-Kingston HyperX blue series 8gb (2x4gb) 1600 Ram
-XFX Radeon HD6870 1gb GPU
-Zalman Z9+ Case w/fan controller + temp display
-Hitachi Deskstar 7k1000.c 500gb SATA2 HDD
-Antec TruePower New 550w Modular PSU
-LG 24x Lightscribe SATA Optical drive
-Logitec MX518 1800DPI mouse
-Win7 Home premium

No thanks, I'd like at least a quad core so that I can play games like BF3 and Dirt 3 on relatively high if not max graphics. Going with dual monitors, too, so I'll definitely be multitasking voice chat, Youtube playlist, MSN, etc.

A simple I5 , or some amd are a lot cheaper, then you can buy a middle-higt range vidéo card, or a crossfire - SLI, having better gaming performance for gaming. Who need a 5ghz cpu? guys who are doing benchmark 24/24...
I bought my 2600k for under $300 so thats false, I also bought a GTX 580 Card to go with it. as for the cheaper comment, the only other processor I was looking at was the 2500k but for the price I got on the I7 I was happy.

Ballsfalsky- only other item you would need is a sound card if the mobo does not have one built in or one that is not satisfactory.
Yeah i would like that too, but i have no money, or i do'nt want to put all my bucks on an I7 2600k and a 580, i was speaking for peopke wich want an extrem or performance rig for 950$. Then it could be better that your config. Just to tell people how to save money and don't buy anything because of the market communication ( i dunno if my english is correct :) )

sory for double, i think that it would be good if someone could post what they recon would be the best spec list for the game, sure you could go out and buy the best pc but that could be a waste of money when you could get the same performance (from this game) from a cheaper pc. Cheers.

The Gtx 580 is the best GPU yet. It's expensive too. If you have money, you can but be sure your CPU and your psu can handle it .

If it's just for mxs, for exemple a simple hd 6870 @ 140€ ( maybe 100$) can run it verry well, or a 560(ti) at 150€(190€).
