My guess is that the "crome" frame will look better.Fransoo773 wrote: Also theres a debate on what frame I'm going to use for the PC bike, some people didn't like it before, and if the majority chooses the stock one ill use that instead.

Thanks for any feedback! If your interested in testing it for me, PM me so i can hook you up. My desktop is still at the shop, and i need some people to test it out in game. Think my teammates are getting sick of new skins to take screens of every 5 minutes
Can you show a comparison between them in game?

The pic of the Max RPMs bike has the Chrome frame.

Forgot to add-
If you have the availability of shader maps, why not just do that stuff with the spec? With it on the diffuse it's going to look horrid.

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
The polished frame should be done more with the spec and subtle changes can be made on the diffuse. What you have now has shading that ranges from nearly 100% white to 100% black. If I were you I'd bring that contrast down a lot and try doing a few things with the spec map because at the moment it's not looking overly flash.Fransoo773 wrote:Hey guys, just finished up my Max RPMs Bike, heres a preview:

I have it at 100% white on DJ's spec in the Max RPMs pic, if I just leave it low contrast, should I at least make the diffuse darker so its got more contrast with the spec?T-RIDER wrote:The polished frame should be done more with the spec and subtle changes can be made on the diffuse.

Don't do 100% white, do light and dark areas similar to the diffuse so that you get a variance in shine that will go along with the shadows, if you know what I mean.

Should keep that scratchy, grimey look I had on there. When its just a flat colour, it doesn't look realistic.
