You probably want to stay away from the KX even though they chose it as their number 1 bike. Piss poor reliability if a 2012 bike does that whilst it was still 2011!

Yeah, I wouldn't worry. Check the description:

Because of this video Kawasaki found a flow in the 2012 piston head causing the problem. They had to change the whole piston on the rest of the bikes.

Buy a bike made after the video and it should be fine.
